Band Director Challenge 

If you are a high school Band Director, take the Légère Challenge^TM. Greg Bimm and Bobby Lambert took our challenge, and the Marian Catholic High School placed 11th in the 2006 Grand Nationals and 5th in 2007,  with every woodwind player using a Legere reed.   Brett Johnson and Chris Allen, at The Woodlands High School,  took the Légère Challenge^TM, then switched their woodwinds to our reeds.  The result?  They placed 4th in the 2007 Grand Nationals with the whole woodwind section playing our reeds.  

Or, as we like to put it, 40% of the top five high school bands in the U.S. are playing Legere reeds!  :-)

Take the Légère Challenge^TM

1. Close your eyes tightly...no peeking!
2.  Listen to one of your players alternate between a Legere reed adn any other reed...without telling you which is which!
3.  Believe you ears.
