Ontario Cut clarinet reeds have excellent response and flexibility in all registers.   The new profile is freer blowing, with less resistance and back pressure.  Many players find them easier to articulate through the most difficult and technical passages

Légère's Student Strength Reed for Bb clarinet have an MSRP of US$9.95, about a third of the retail price of our premier reed line.   It is available only in strengths of 2 and 2.5, and is designed with a free blowing profile so that it responds instantly for novice players.   

All of the important features of our premier reeds are still there: Student Strength Reeds have instant response, full tonal range, enhanced durability, and are easy to clean.   The lower price means that young students can enjoy the ease and versatility of a Légère Reed without all the up front cost.
