"Légère has opened up a new and refreshing element to my playing…It allows me to control and play with multiple colors…..It has a ton of flexibility which is key for me due to playing multiple genres of music…..It gets out of my way and works for me, not against me….I’m proud to endorse Légère reeds and I recommend them to anyone.”   – Phillip Whack

Phillip Whack is a native of Columbia, SC. He picked up the sax at age 11 as it was a product of his environment. Phillip’s parents constantly played music of all genres from Nat king Cole to Miles Davis, David Bowie, Earth, Wind & Fire, Stevie Wonder, Rod Stewart, Louis Armstrong, Marvin Gaye, Grover Washington, to name a few.
