“My first experience with Légère Reeds was at the 2016 Winter N.A.A.M. Show. I had always played cane reeds and never thought I would like the sound and feel of anything else. One of my good friends had been telling me about his experience and success with Légère Reeds and strongly suggested I visit the booth and check them out. That’s what I did, I went and talked with the staff represented there and they gave me reeds for tenor and soprano sax. I played on those reeds exclusively for months. I must say that I loved the sound, the consistency and durability of them.

“Légère reeds offer me the consistency of tone and response that I have come to rely on as a performer. I firmly believe that the future of reeds is synthetic, and Légère reeds showcase the true potential of this material.” – B. Cold

My switch to Légère Signature reeds, after having played on traditional cane reeds for many years, felt like a sigh of relief long overdue. Légère reeds are incredibly consistent in their ability to produce a warm, rich tone in all registers with a smoothness and ease I haven’t felt with any other reed product. In addition, the peace of mind knowing that my reeds are reliable through both performances and practice sessions is invaluable. Equally important is the exemplary customer service provided by Légère, from accurate advice on reed strength to great quality control.

Associate Principal Clarinet – China Philharmonic Orchestra

“I have been using Légère reed full-time in the Orchestra for three years now, on all of my clarinets. The consistency is a god-send! I never have to worry about my sound or response. And, with each new model everything is improved further!” – C. Liu

“I was first introduced to Légère Clarinet reeds in the spring of 2016 by a friend who played in the Philadelphia Orchestra. I had tried synthetic reeds in the past but they just did not deliver for me what I wanted in a Clarinet reed.
