  Teachers and Band Directors

What would it be like to teach an entire class, with perfect reeds, starting within five minutes of the bell?   What if every woodwind on the field had a perfect reed, rain or shine, hot or cold?

In 2007, The Woodlands High School Band and the Marian Catholic High School Band placed 4th and 5th in the Grand Nationals.     The woodwind sections of both bands played Légère reeds.   Check out the Prestige Band pages for  Marian and The Woodlands for more details and some comments from the band directors.

Barnaby Robson is Principal Clarinet in the Philharmonia Orchestra of London, and plays Légère reeds.    Check out his Artist Page.

Larry Combs, Principal Clarinet of the Chicago Symphony has performed master classes with our reeds and his students have used them.

Légère reeds are proven to work at the highest levels in orchestras, bands and teaching of all kinds.  The reeds are  durable and consistent and need no time to warm up.  They are tough, and can last for months, making them an economical choice.  It's amazing!

Symphony orchestra professionals play and record on them.  Marching bands win competitions with them.   What are you waiting for?
P.S.  Don't forget to get one for yourself. Légère reeds don't dry out and are perfect for teachers and doublers that have to play intermittently.

Download our Teacher and Bandmaster Manual for detailed information about teaching with our reeds.  The manual is in PDF format and requires Adobe Acrobat Reader to view and print.   If you do not have it, Acrobat Reader may be obtained for free at
