Updated Dec 9,  2007

The Woodlands and Marian Catholic place
#4 and #5 at the
2007 Grand National Championships!

At the 2007 Grand National Championships for High School Marching Bands, two of the top five bands were playing exclusively on Légère Reeds!    Marian Catholic High School Band has won seven National Championships in the past 25 years. Led by Hall of Fame director Greg Bimm, Marian is known for its strong wind section. In 2006, Marian joined Legere's Prestige Band Program, won the overall Illinois State Championship and was 11th at the Grand Nationals.  They used our reeds through the 2007 concert season, and they were Class II Champions and placed 5th overall in the 2007 Grand Nationals.   Congratulations to Greg Bimm, Bobby Lambert, and all of the talented players in the Marian Band.   Read more on Marian's Artist Page

Based on last year's success with Marian, we invited another great high school band to join our program in 2007.   The Woodlands High School Band, from Texas began using Légère reeds in August and placed 4th  in the 2007 Grand Nationals.   Visit The Woodlands Band's Artist Page

Two of the most respected marching bands in the country use Légère reeds!   Great players like Barnaby Robson and Chuck Hedges stake their careers on our reeds.   Give them a try today!
