Born in Serbia, Robert Borsos began studying the clarinet when he was only 9. He attended the Music Academy in Novi Sad, Serbia from 1995-1996 and in 1996 began his studies at the Musik Universität in Graz, Austria. Robert studied under the direction of Professors Béla KOVÁCS with Gerald Pachinger, graduating with the best note in 2003.

Robert has performed solo concerts in Austria, Germany, Holland, Hungary, Romania, Russia and japan and from 2007 through 2009 held the position of Principal Clarinet for the Hyogo Performing Arts Center Orchestra in Japan.

In 2010 he was appointed Principal Clarinet of the Nagoya Philharmonic Orchestra in Japan and currently still holds this position.
