“As a theatre musician, being able to pick up my horns and know the reeds will perform beautifully every time means I can concentrate on a great performance and not worry about my reeds. I'm currently playing A Chorus Line at the Stratford Festival using Légère reeds on clarinet/contrabass clarinet/baritone sax/bassoon.” – Merlin Williams

Merlin Williams is a multi-instrumentalist based in Toronto, ON, Canada. He performs on woodwinds (saxes, clarinets, oboe & English horn, flutes, bassoon, whistles), guitars and electric bass. He has worked with numerous internationally know artists including Paul Anka, Rob McConnell, Dame Shirley Bassey, Dave Grusin and Seth McFarlane of Family Guy.

Merlin is currently in his seventh season playing multiple woodwinds on A Chorus Line at the Stratford Shakespeare Festival – using Légère reeds on clarinet, contrabass clarinet, bassoon and baritone saxophone. He is also a sought after guest soloist with orchestras and concert bands/wind ensembles and co-leads the Orange Devils Big Band, a jazz repertory orchestra.
