“Playing multiple instruments on most shows, I’m elated that I no longer have to worry about reed prep when switching between saxophones. With Légère I just pick up and play, and still get the feel of cane.” – Marlon Boone

Marlon has a perfected talent that encompasses the Alto, Tenor and Soprano saxophones. Though he is a current resident of Tampa, Florida Marlon began his musical journey as a saxophonist at age 10 in his hometown of Pahokee, Florida.

“Légère Oboe reeds are the Future of the oboist; I play now these reeds in my concerts and recordings and the quality of sound and the intonation in all registers of the oboe are beautiful and perfect. You can see, for example, my interpretation of Alessandro Marcello oboe concerto on Paolo July 2016; this is my first live exhibition with a Légère oboe reed…Arundo Donax cane, Adieau.” – Paolo Di Cioccio

“As a woodwind doubler, I rarely spend a great deal of time on one instrument. As I found myself, with more and more work, I was devoting a great deal of time to keeping reeds “broken in” and ready to go. Maintaining 10 different setups (jazz and classical for 6 different instruments) grew to be unmanageable. I was introduced to Légère reeds by a fellow artist and was floored. I had reeds that gave me everything I wanted with none of the heartache. I’ve switched on every setup and haven’t looked back.” – Aaron P. Martinez

“I started using Légère Reeds in 2014 when I had the opportunity to play the Reed 1 part in the Musical “Chicago”, in Stuttgart. My Légère Reed gave me the possibility to play every show on the same reed, with the same sound, response and flexibility. Since then I’m very happy with my setup. I play Légère Reeds on all my reed instruments and also suggest them to my students.” – Christian Seeger

I came across the Légère reeds one year ago. In November and December 2015 I had to play several important recitals with my Duo, the Duo Granato. The concerts were spread over different areas, with a really different climate. I was worrying to find good reeds for the concerts, and was worried on how they would adapt to snow, or maybe sun, to cold and hot. Just one month before I had the opportunity to try the Légère Signature reed.

“Before I tried the Légère reeds I was not sure that a synthetic reed could give me the warmth and constancy that I desired. Boy was I wrong! These reeds play even from the bottom to the top of the horn, with the fullness and warmth that I desire on my horn and without the worry of climate or consistency of cane reeds. I am completely sold on the results I am getting with Légère Reeds!” – Kyle Turner
